The Schloss Neuschwanstein is a 19th century Romanesque palace built on a hill above Hohenschwangau near Füssen in southwest Bavaria.
After I got off the bus, I went up the hill on foot. It took about 30 minutes.
Instead, we can get to the castle by horse-drawn carriage.
This is an entrance. Please note we have to decide the entrance time in advance and reserve the ticket and enter in the castle in a group.
It is a bit complicated system. If you don't know (and don't want to know) the detail, I recommend the bus tour. The tour guide takes care of everything.
We entered the castle and...
It houses numerous significant interior rooms.
I also went to the Marienbrücke which is across the Pöllat behind the castle and it provides the whole view of Neuschwanstein Castle.
But unfortunately, it is too foggy to see anything today.
This is the best view.
But all I could see was the fog. It was too strict to me!
On the way back, I saw a beautiful scenery of the Schloß Herrenchiemsee.
